Provided Services
This is a home, not an institution; and the home belongs to our residents. We will always go out of our way to make them as comfortable as possible. Once they personalize their room with familiar items and join their roommates for a family feast in the dining room, they get a sense of belonging to a real home.
We try to encourage the residents to help themselves to snacks and beverages, unless they are unable to do so in accordance with their care plan (health)… or if it ruins their appetite for our home cooked meals. How many facilities or nursing homes allow you to raid the fridge for a snack? In our opinion, this promotes independence and overall enjoyment of their living situation. Of course we are always more than willing to assist them at the push of a call button when need be.
Please keep in mind that the list of services below is just an example of what we offer, but there really isn’t anything we wouldn’t do for our residents. Helping them fix their watch, mail a package, assistance with reaching a loved one, and so on.
Supervisory Care:

Here are just a few of the daily services that we provide:
- Three meals a day, plus snacks anytime they want

- Making appointments (physicians, hair stylists, etc.)
Activities
For 20 years we have taken each of our residents out for lunch and shopping. Because we are so close to them, we can tailor their activities to suit them. We have elevated gardens, various art supplies, board games, and books. If we don’t have it, we’ll get it for them!
In-Home Events
We understand that sometimes our residents are too fragile to leave the home, so we always try to bring the fun to them. Easter egg hunts, BBQs and birthday parties are just some of the fun activities going on.
Group Outings
One of our favorite spots in Summer is Lake Mary. Under the shade of the gazebos we can have a nice BBQ/picnic with handicap acessible facilities. We also enjoy going out for movies, music and anything food related.
Pet Therapy
Besides the house dogs, we try to bring over as many furry visitors as we can. We have a chicken coop out at The Ranch, and we have even had mini horses and goats visit on a regular basis.

Our family owned and operated assisted living homes have been highly regarded in the professional community for 20 years. With three homes to choose from in the Flagstaff area, we offer private and medicaid covered assisted living in nearly all parts of this lovely mountain town.
You will find that theses are not large facilities, but beautiful homes located in the heart of safe residential neighborhoods. They seem to blend in with all the other homes on the block, and people often have no idea that they are looking at an assisted living home. Once inside you will find wonderful decorations and furniture that complete the feeling of a warm family environment. This give our residents the dignity, privacy and comfort that we feel everyone deserves.
Our homes are not only for the rich, but we also have a great relationship with all of the government assisted medicaid programs set up in Northern Arizona. All you need to do is mention our homes to any of these organizations, and we are sure they will give us a shining recommendation.
Large institutions may be alright for some people, but they can often be cold, noisy and overcrowded labyrinths for someone who just wants a quiet home. We have dinner tables, not cafeterias. Living rooms, instead of television areas. Front and back yards, rather than "grounds". Just remember, there are always plenty of rooms at facilities... But there's no place like home.
How Much Does It Cost?
The monthly cost of our homes depends of a few factors. These include whether or not you want your own room, which room you choose or is available (obviously the master bedroom will be the most expensive) and the level of care needed. Unlike some places our monthly fees are all enclusive with the exception of certain medical needs (medicine and equipment) and special dietary requirements.
That being said, the monthly cost of our homes can be anywhere from $4000 - $5000 a month. If this seems like more than you can afford, keep in mind that we are typically the least expensive of your options for this level of care, and you can always check with local medicaid programs to help cover the costs.
